College Activity Options:
Academic Affiliation: These are student-led groups focused on developing community and outside-the-classroom experiences connected to academic majors or affiliated professions and could include Biology Club, Clarke Association of Nursing Students, Teachers for Tomorrow, and more.
Campus Ministry: Includes Catholic Mass, prayer services, retreats and service opportunities.
Clarke Activities Board: CAB is the student-led entertainment and programming board that promotes and produces a variety of activities for students.
Ensembles: Instrumental: Showcase your talents through involvement in wind ensembles, jazz, or string orchestra. Performances will be on and off Clarke University’s campus.
Ensembles: Vocal: Become a collegiate singer at Clarke University. Students selected by audition will serve as the university’s ambassadors when performing to the region, the nation, and the world.
Identity Affiliation and Cultural Clubs: Organizations such as Africa and the Diaspora Student Union, Black Student Union, and the LGBTQIA+ Alliance provide cultural community, awareness, and celebration activities.
Intramural Sports: Engage in an array of intramural sports while utilizing facilities on Clarke’s campus.
Media and Publication: The Crux is media for students by students, and the Tenth Muse is an annual literary magazine curated, designed, and published by students.
Scholars Program: Students prepare for their futures by challenging themselves and each other intellectually, developing formative academic and professional relationships, and actively engaging with the larger academic community.
Service Opportunities: Service opportunities include individual and group experience to meet the needs of the vulnerable locally, nationally, and internationally.
Special Interest: Include but not limited to Clarke Inclusive Games, Military & Veterans Organization, Dance Marathon
Student Government: The Clarke Student Association is the student governing body, and acts as an advocate of the student body with university administration.
Study Abroad: Provides the opportunity to go to college in another country and do an internship or service-learning project while there.
Theater: This is an opportunity to be involved in the theater productions on campus as a cast member or behind the scenes.
